For the 2011 season, Sam will be driving for iSport in the GP2 and GP2 Asia Series. Under the leadership of team principal Paul Jackson, the Norfolk-based team has become the most successful of the British-based GP2 contenders. It won the Asia title in 2010 and the main series in 2007, and is a regular championship front-runner. Sam said: "I'm really excited - I think iSport has the engineering expertise to push me hard. I think we're ready for a title challenge now. Last year was a great year, but I need to go a few steps better this year and I'm definitely with the right people to do that." |
